I spent the last 15 years or so training Krav Maga instructors from all over the world.  I've seen the best practitioners as well as the best instructors as I helped train and work with them on their journeys not only to get a black belt, but to learn how to most effectively spread real and effective self defense to others.  
What I saw in Rob was rare.  He is extremely physically talented but doesn't take his talent for granted, and he consistently trains harder and more often than most.  He is always trying to make himself better, faster, and stronger.  After running the Krav Maga Black Belt test for over 10 years, I can confidently say that Rob had one of the best overall tests I ever gave.  His self defense techniques were extremely efficient and strong, his fighting was at a professional level (even after the fatigue of a 6 hour test), and his overall knowledge was evident and clear.  

It was an honor for me to work with Rob for years and be the one to give him his Black Belt.  It is a day that I will never forget, and I believe that anyone who chooses to train with Rob is in very good hands.
